Our Wedding

At Just the Right TimeJohn and Daisy first reconnected more than 17 years ago with a simple greeting: "Hello Stranger, Remember Me?"They didn't begin dating right away, but something gentle and promising began.Over the next two years, they stayed connected, exchanging the occasional text message and catching up on life. Then, in the summer of 2011, something more than friendship sparked. John's patience, kindness, and steady presence gradually won Daisy's heart.They took their relationship slowly, building a foundation of trust, respect, and friendship. In 2013, they decided it was time to become a family. Their home was soon filled with love, laughter, and plenty of activity, with Andrew and Annalise in high school and Mandy returning home from college during school breaks.Together, they celebrated high school games and competitions, college parent weekends, graduations, and all the special moments in between. Through the years, they created a life centered on family, friendship, and shared experiences.Whether gathering for the holidays, hosting summer-themed parties, enjoying backyard barbecues, or simply sharing life's everyday moments, many of the memories they cherish most were made with family and friends by their side.Although work kept them busy, they always made time for adventure. Some of their fondest memories include traveling with the children to Hawaii and France, as well as exploring India in 2020 and Africa in 2025, just the two of them.It was during a magical evening in Zambia, beneath a sky scattered with stars, that John asked Daisy to spend the rest of her life with him. Surrounded by the sounds of hippos grunting in the river below and fireflies illuminating the landscape, John proposed from a treehouse in the African wilderness.Now, John and Daisy are overjoyed to celebrate the next chapter of their journey and invite you to join them on Friday, October 2, 2026, in La Jolla, California, surrounded by the family and friends who have been part of their beautiful story.
